Fourth Friday holds at Rs 1 crore
Mirzapur The Movie is now in its fourth week in theatres, and the Pankaj Tripathi-led film is still adding to its total. On Day 22, the film earned Rs 1.00 crore in India net collections, playing across 1,322 shows, according to box office tracking by Sacnilk cited in a Times of India report.
That is a clear step down from Day 21’s Rs 1.40 crore, a fall of about 28.6 per cent, but it keeps the film in the crore-a-day club as it moves deeper into its theatrical run.
Where the film’s total stands
After 22 days, the India net collection stands at Rs 223.80 crore. India gross is Rs 266.37 crore, and overseas gross has reached Rs 59.50 crore, taking the worldwide gross to Rs 325.87 crore.

The occupancy split on Day 22 tells the story of how the film is being watched now. Overall occupancy was 27.23 per cent, but that average hides a wide range: morning shows were at 8.69 per cent, afternoon at 23.62 per cent, evening at 23.23 per cent, and night shows at 41.62 per cent.
For fans who have yet to watch, the data is useful: the late show is where the crowds are, so book ahead if you want the fullest theatre. For the box office, the strong night turnout means the film is behaving more like an evening event than a casual daytime watch.
Why this Mirzapur leap matters
This is a streaming-era franchise trying to prove it can work as a big-screen event. Gurmeet Singh makes his feature debut as director, and Puneet Krishna wrote the film. The cast brings back Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen, Ali Fazal as Guddu, and Divyenndu as Munna, while Jitendra Kumar takes over as Bablu from Vikrant Massey. Rasika Dugal, Ravi Kishan, Sushant Singh and Abhishek Banerjee fill out the ensemble.
Fans of the series will be watching whether the film version keeps the show’s energy, and the box office suggests it has found a real audience. The fourth-week story is less about fireworks and more about staying power.
