I will admit, I went into the Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak teaser half expecting another Sunny Deol action parade. What I got instead was a man carrying real grief, and a thriller that seems more interested in a broken system than in giving him an easy enemy.
The film is directed by M Padmakumar from a screenplay by Karan Razdan, Neeraj Pathak and Mayank Sharma Dadhich, and it is set to release on November 20, 2026. Sunny Deol plays a father whose daughter falls sick, and the search for answers leads him into a medical system hiding something dark. Ravi Kishan, Pragya Jaiswal, Tinu Anand, Manish Wadhwa, Jisshu Sen Gupta and a strong ensemble fill out the world around him.
What the teaser promises
It promises an intense crime thriller with a moral core. The father is not looking for a fight for its own sake; he is looking for the truth. The teaser holds back the actual conspiracy, the scale of the wrong-doing, and how far the system will go to protect itself. That restraint is a good sign, because it means the film may have more to reveal than a plot summary.
The moment everyone will talk about
For me, it is the turn where Sunny Deol’s grief hardens into something much more dangerous. The teaser does not need to spell out the threat. His face does the work, and that is exactly the promise fans want from him: a man who has been pushed past the point of silence.
Where this sits for Sunny Deol
After Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has been leaning into roles that mix mass appeal with emotional stakes. Suryaa looks like it could be a more grounded version of that lane. For the makers, who include producers Deepak Mukut, Hemmant Mukut and Lokesh Mukut under the MM Moviez banner, the teaser positions the film as a theatrical event rather than a streaming afterthought. Uttam Singh’s score is also a real presence.
Honest verdict
Yes, this looks worth the ticket. The teaser does not over-explain, it gives Sunny Deol a clear emotional reason to be on screen, and it puts the fight in a space that feels immediate. If M Padmakumar can keep that tension tight for two hours, Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak could be a solid, grown-up thriller that rewards fans without insulting their patience.
